COUNCILLOR Mohammed Khan's outrage at the poster campaign regarding the ownership of the now-derelict Three Pigeons pub, in Oakenhurst Road, Blackburn (LET, June 19) was perhaps understandable.
However, the council certainly knows who does own the pub. It should, therefore, make it known to the people of Bank Top without delay so that there are no further speculative leaflets, comments etc.
Coun Khan, together with Coun Don Rishton and the deputy leader of the council, Kate Hollern, represent Bank Top with Twin Valley Homes being by far and away the largest landlord. Yet three-quarters the area is akin to a tip used for dumping garbage, which, in large part, is also of the human kind.
