ROVERS are continuing to make excellent progress in their pursuit of Australian international Brett Emerton.
A fee in the region of £3 million has already been agreed with Feyenoord.
And as I understand it, Rovers have now agreed personal terms with the 24-year-old as well, who also passed a medical on Monday.
Just a few loose ends remain to be tied up before Rovers can make an official announcement.
But a number of clubs are continuing to monitor the situation closely in case there's any late breakdown in negotiations.
Rovers are also closing in on Vratislav Gresko and expect to push through a deal for the Slovakian in the next few days.
