Veteran actor Dharmendra officially launched mega-budget patriotic flick Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyon by sounding the clapperboard for the opening shot last week. The latest offering from controversial filmmaker Anil Sharma, Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyon stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles.
The cast and crew remained tight-lipped about the storyline and the characters of the film. The only thing that was revealed was a set of the United Nations that had been erected and the foreign actors that were present at the opening day's shoot. The centre of attention was Amitabh Bachchan, who was dressed as a Sikh soldier for the scene.
The director and cast of the film denied that the film was anti-Pakistani like Sharma's last movie The Hero-Love Story Of A Spy. Bachchan added that he was a hopeful a new peace initiative to improve relations with Pakistan and India would succeed.
