Just when you thought it was safe to venture into your local cinema they go and release another horror movie.
It seems to be all the rage at the moment. Bhoot did OK at the box office and Hrithick Roshan is set to dazzle everyone in the special effects laden, Koi Mil Gaya. More of that in next month's issue.
Made on a low budget, Hawa stars the talented Tabu who was never one for screaming or fearing anyone, human or otherwise.
No song and dance numbers here and that's probably why we decided to see what all the fuss was about.
Tabu has played some pretty strange roles in the past and is always up for trying something completely different.
However, they have really pushed the limits in this one and Tabu is not only haunted by the unseen, she's physically abused by it. At times you just want Shatrugan Sinna to burst in and rescue.
As with most Bollywood baddies this particular ghost is as evil as they come. One thing is for sure though this film is definitely not one for the family.
Tabu plays a divorced mother of two who ends up getting stranded in a secluded house. Things begin eerily enough but then the evil presence lets itself known upon our hapless Tabu.
