Regarding the article 'A community losing its way or finding its natural balance' by Mohammed Nawaz, I would like to congratulate you on a very well balanced and accurate assessment of the crime situation in this area.
As someone who is reaching retirement, I would agree completely with your assessment of your own peoples 'older' generation's attitude to living in this country.
In the 60's and 70's the volume of crime committed by the Asian community was negligible, yet today it has a disproportionate role.
Your unbiased opinion is welcomed within the indigenous community. I regret that your opinion and attitude is not common within the Asian community. If it were, then we would not face the problems in this town which we are going to face in coming months.
