In April of this year, I was at Piccadilly railway station in Manchester, minding my own business, waiting for my relatives to arrive from london.
I was approached by an Asian lad asking if I could help him.
Usually I'd have ignored him or said no but I decided to listen to his story. He told me how he had been robbed by a gang of lads who had stolen his wallet and that he had no train fare to get back home in Wakefield.
He begged me for the money home and promised me that if I would help him, he would repay me in a matter of days.
I was not convinced but then he started to quote paragraphs from the Quran and started to use Allah's name. This made me think and I gave in to his wishes and paid his train fare home on the basis that he would pay me back soon.
He even took my address and my mobile number to confirm that he would pay. To this day, I have not recieved nothing back from this individual. I'm so disgusted that he had used Allah's name in vain.
Why couldn't he just be honest? I've learnt my lesson now. Everyman for himself
