STAN TERNENT will soon be starring in his own movie blockbuster!
The multi-talented Burnley boss has already dented the best-sellers list thanks to remarkable sales of his revealing book, 'Stan the Man'.
And now, Stan is the main focus of a new documentary being filmed as the Clarets' gear up for the new season.
Freelance broadcaster and journalist Peter Stevenson is tracking Stan's every move over the coming weeks to offer fans a fascinating insight into his hectic day-to-day routine.
And former BBC sports reporter Stevenson is hopeful the resulting video will hit the shops in time for the start of the season, in just four weeks time.
He said: "I read Stan's book recently and the seed was sown from there, so I thought I would try and persuade him to do a video to follow it up.
"The idea is to gain access to his daily routine over a six-day period and Stan was fully supportive. We will have access to him in his office, at home, at the training ground and, hopefully, in the dressing room and dug out for the pre-season games in the Isle of Man and back at Turf Moor.
"It's a nice six-day shoot that will hopefully get us into the areas and situations few people normally see."
Stevenson added: "We plan to edit an hour's worth of the best material and sell them through the club shop in time for the start of the season. Hopefully, it will make for pretty good viewing."
However, Stevenson and his film crew have been warned to expect a few early alarm calls before they finally have the film in the can.
Stan, still busy juggling his hunt for new players with pre-season training, quipped: "If they want to see everything, they can expect a few early mornings!"
