LEIGH Centurions have sent out a big thank you to all the fans who were at Spotland last Sunday.
With over 6,000 fans in the ground it was the Leigh fans who out-numbered and out-sang the Salford opposition.
Mike Callaghan, Leigh's Operations Manager said: "The fans were magnificent. They got right behind the team from the start. They generated a great atmosphere and showed the rugby league world why we are the best supported team outside Super League.
"The club has received great praise from the sponsors for the number of Leigh fans and their behaviour at the final. All I can add is that we are proud of you, and long may it continue."
