MOVE over Men In Black. The Men In Green have taken over Butterstile Primary School.
Actually, it is the men in green TIGHTS that wowed audiences at the Year 5 and 6 end of term performance.
The youngsters performed a musical based on the legendary story of Robin Hood, called "Hoodwinked".
It had all the exciting tales about do-gooder Robin and his Merry Men as they fought against the interfering Sheriff of Nottingham.
Parents were treated to two performances this week and teachers wanted to thank parent, Mrs Janet Mayo, for making the costumes.
Pictured are the cast of "Hoodwinked" in rehearsals. Robyn Dunn as Maid Marion (seated) with (back row L-R) Ben Anderson as Friar Tuck, Josh Lambert as King Richard, Lee Kendall as Robin Hood, Shane Flynn as Sheriff of Nottingham, Sam Walton, Jessica Emmett and kneeling (right) Aroosa Qureshi as the Guard.
Headteacher Mrs Kathyrn O'Doherty said: "The performance has been superbly enhanced by absolutely outstanding costumes, fit to be seen on any West End stage. All outfits were designed and made by Mrs Janet Mayo, who we can't thank enough."
