A GREEK restaurant in Colne is hoping to give people a smashing time next month, when it holds its latest fundraising venture.
The owners are already preparing for the event, at the Original Greek Restaurant, in Church Street, on Wednesday, August 13, which will raise cash for Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle.
Tickets are priced at £15 and will include a full Mezzi banquet with either a sweet or coffee, followed by traditional Greek dancing, plate smashing and a disco.
All proceeds, including the raffle, will help the hospice to provide care for local people suffering from cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
Tickets are available from the Hospice fundraising department on 01282 440100 or from the Hospice reception.
