POLICE are appealing for the return of potentially lethal drugs which went missing along with a bagful of shopping.
The 56 7mg tablets of Zimpovanne sleeping pills and Citalopram anti-depressants were lost in Pickup Street, Clayton-le-Moors in the afternoon.
A police spokesman said the tablets could kill a child or render an adult unconscious, depending on the person's weight and condition.
The spokesman added: "If anyone comes across them thinking they are something worth taking ,they should reconsider and take them to a chemist, doctor or police station."
