PENDLE Council staff will be looking cool for the benefit of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
People up and down the country will be invited to have fun by wearing their shades at work, at school or at play in return for donating a £1 towards the charity on Tuesday, July 15.
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association wants to get even more people involved, which is why staff at Pendle Council will be taking part in wearing their shades for a day.
Rachael Haworth, organiser and promotions assistant, said: "I hope staff will enjoy wearing their shades for a day, but, more importantly, feel good about contributing towards a good cause."
If anybody would like to make a donation to The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Nelson Town Hall will have a collection box on the day of the event in reception.
