St Mary's from Oswaldtwistle clinched a rare double after winning tournaments staged by Blackburn Rovers and Burnley FC.
And it was all thanks to the lethal right boot of Bliss Wright!
The Saints sharp-shooter top scored as her school went on to win the Blackburn Rovers girls five-a-side tournament -- hot on the heels of six-a-side success at Turf Moor.
Wright and strike partner Sammy Hough tormented the opposition at Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre as the pair netted 15 goals between them -- in fact, all of St Mary's goals!
The Saints finished with an unbeaten record as four wins and a draw saw them top the mini league event with 13 points.
Rishton school, St Peter's and St Paul's finished in second place while the tournament also included St Charles from Rishton, Meadowhead from Blackburn, Withnell Fold from Brinscall and St James Lower Darwen.
Meadowhead were the only school to prevent St Mary's from completing a clean sweep of victories, holding the eventual winners to a 2-2 draw.
But there was no stopping them elsewhere as they opened their account with a 2-1 win against Withnell Fold.
Meadowhead soon stopped the Saints in their tracks in the second round of matches before they were back to their winning ways.
A 2-0 win against St Peter's and St Paul's followed and a 4-1 win against St Charles meant that victory in their last match would guarantee the title.
And this time it was Sammy who grabbed the glory and she scored a superb hat-trick as the Saints clinched the tournament in style with a 5-0 win against St James Lower Darwen.
The winning Saints squad also included goalkeeper Rachael Stephenson, Georgina Griffin, Alexandra Davis, Lucy Howson, Lucy Butler, Laura Davies and Sophie Fitzpatrick.
Headteacher Stephen Wells said: "The school has been successful in a number of sports in the last year.
"But for the girls to win football tournaments at Burnley and Blackburn Rovers was a bit special. We're all very proud of them."
