Haslingden Primary School showed they were equally at home on the court as they were at the crease after enjoying that double winning feeling.
For the Ryfield Avenue school rounded off the hugely successful Haslingden Schools Sports Festival by winning the netball and Kwik Cricket competitions.
The festival, which also included rounders and football, was well supported by all seven of the town's primary schools who played their part in making the event a big hit.
But the Kwik Cricket and netball was all about two schools -- with Haslingden pipping St John's Stonefold to glory on both occasions.
The Kwik Cricket was a knockout event, with St James, St Veronica's, St Mary's, Broadway and Helmshore all padding up to take part in the action.
The event was played to Kwik Cricket rules with teams starting on 200 runs with five runs deducted for every wicket lost.
Batsmen batted in pairs with every player, except the wicket keeper, getting the chance to bowl.
The final proved to be a high scoring affair -- even though it was a reduced overs match.
Haslingden topped 250 runs which proved to be just out of the reach of Stonefold's batters.
The winning Haslingden team included: Matthew Hoyle, Hamid Mahmood, Waqas Khalid, Omar Imtiaz, Amber Cobb, Tom Sipocz, Alex Marcroft and Jake Pickup.
St John's Stonefold's team included Louis Boyd, Callum Dunn, Matt Richmond, Alexander Warburton, Lee Connor and David Dickinson.
The netball competition included six schools and was played in a round robin format. And Haslingden ended the day unbeaten after winning four and drawing one of their five matches.
Haslingden netball team was made up off Hannah Johnson, Hayley Wharton, Charlotte Lee, Sabina Ali, Rhiannon Ward, Ellie Carrick, Imogen Edwards, Emily Anderson, Rebecca Ratcliffe. St John's Stonefold, who had to settle for their second runners-up place of the week, included Louis Boyd, Kirsty Jones, Rebecca Buck, Sarah Jones, Sarah Ormerod, Emma Flanagan and year five pupils Rachel Collinson and Sonia Hussain.
Sue Bateson, from Haslingden Primary said: "We were delighted to win the two events.
"The netball was a real test as they played on much bigger, indoor courts. But all the players really enjoyed themselves."
