AN NHS modernisation chief was due to visit Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Primary Care Trust today as part of a whistle stop tour of PCTs in the North West.
David Fillingham, chief executive of the Modernisation Agency, was scheduled to meet PCT chief executive, David Peat, and chairman, Jim Heyes, at Howard Street Resource Centre, Burnley.
He also planned to talk to Ann-Marie Coyne, Teaching Trust project manager, who will update him on education and training, and Dr Swamy Narayana, chairman of the Professional Executive Committee (PEC) of the PCT, who will discuss swapping ideas between PECs across the North West.
