A GROUP set up to unite Burnley is celebrating its fourth anniversary.
The Community Alliance promotes community togetherness by working with the council and community groups to secure regeneration grants for the town.
It played a role in bringing £20million of government funding into Burnley and pledges to be as open with as many people as possible in its dealings.
The celebration was held in the Regency Room at Towneley Hall, Todmorden Road, Burnley.
Keynote speaker was a representative from the neighbourhood renewal unit. Member groups and officials from local and regional government attended. Awards were also presented by the Mayor of Burnley.
