ST Cuthbert's Church, Darwen, is preparing to celebrate 125 years of worship.
Three days of celebrations are planned for the church in Duckworth Street which is urging as many people as possible to join in.
A church spokesman said: "Our church is a truly lovely part of Lancashire's Victorian heritage. We intend to provide an opportunity for others to experience the joy and also comfort our faith brings to us.
"We are eager to welcome those who wish to participate and equally those who just want to sit and experience the peace of a holy place."
Friday, September 19, sees a ceilidh dance and supper, followed by a musical performance on the Saturday and a family Eucharist on the Sunday.
