NELSON sank Chadderton with three second half goals to take maximum points from this NWCL Second Division game at Andrew Street.
Paul Barrett headed in Craig Bradshaw's right wing cross in a lightning move, then put Nelson further ahead after 66 minutes when he latched on to Danny Caton's through ball to beat the keeper with a clinical finish.
Chadderton were forced to push forward and were rewarded five minutes later when a free kick from out on the left wing was met at the near post by Danny Fahey and deflected into the net to pull a goal back for the home side.
Nelson always looked likely to score and Barrett should have completed his hat-trick, but shot wide with a golden opportunity.
But Paul Fildes completed a solo run with a shot which went in off the post to give the Blues a comfortable win.
