ASTLEY and Tyldesley CC pro Bazid Khan is on course to break the Bolton Association all-time scoring record.
Last weekend Bazid smashed 161 in a draw with Darcy Lever and followed it up a day later with 84 in a convincing victory over Blackrod.
It puts him on course to break the all-time Association run-scoring record in league and Cross Cup games of 1,709 set by Mudassar Nazar in 1976.
Khan stands on 1,668 with two games to play but his achievements at the weekend have given him one record. His 1,626 scored in league alone breaks the previous record set by Andy Hall for Atherton in 1995.
