NEW faces who answered a call to keep the curtain up at a village theatre company will appear in their new production.
They will take active roles in Culcheth Players' October play "The Edge of Darkness" written by Brian Clemens.
The show will be produced at Culcheth Sports and Social Club from October 8 to 11 at 7.45pm.
It is set in Victorian times and promises to blend atmosphere and character with intrigue and murder. Based in an isolated house on a craggy coast in Britain, a story of double dealing greed and social status unfolds.
Company spokesman Fiona Gadd said: "We are delighted to present some new faces within the production, both on stage and behind the scenes, thanks to a successful recruitment drive."
Tickets at £4 for adults £3 for children under 16 and pensioners are available from the club, group members or the ticket secretary on 01925 765136.
