THE East Lancashire Golf Association scored a stunning 13-5 victory over the Lancashire B team on Saturday.
After taking the morning foursomes 4-2, the ELGA players then won nine of the afternoon's 12 singles games to complete the convincing victory.
Nick Uttley was the biggest winner on his home course of Nelson, with a 6 and 5 triumph over Hillside's Andrew Sumner.
Nelson team-mate Ian Short recorded a 4 and 3, as did Accrington pair Trevor Foster and Jason Ashworth and Pleasington's Gareth Gillatt.
There were also wins for Blackburn duo Martyn Brooks and Anthony Harwood, Nelson's Daniel Nutter and Andy Westwell of Pleasington.
Uttley won 6 and 5 twice on the day, having teamed up with Tony Flanagan in the morning, but the biggest margin was 8 and 7, to Westwell and Gillatt over Marcus Armitage and Marcus Dunning.
