THE race for the Bolton Association championship looks all set to go to the final match of the season.
Walshaw went back to the top last weekend after winning both their games against Lostock and Blackrod while Little Hulton lost out at Atherton.
The Sycamore Road side are at home to Darcy Lever in their crunch game and will be confident of winning more silverware.
Professional Jon Fielding had more reason than most to celebrate Sunday evening after completing his first ever century for Walshaw when he finished Sunday's encounter with Blackrod on an unbeaten 116.
This came on top of his weekend's tally of 12 wickets; taking him to a season's total of 110.
It was a reasonably successful weekend for Elton as they drew with third-placed Golborne before beating lowly Adlington on Sunday.
On Saturday, Elton struggled with Golborne's disciplined bowling in an attempt to set a sizeable target.
Chris Read (31) laid the foundations for Graham Bushell (36*) and Mark Hamnett (25*) to build a target of 148.
Golborne looked set to pass the total with ease but the weather intervened to the annoyance of the Golborne players; Peter Kay grabbing 2-38.
Elton were indebted to professional Dexter Fitton's unbeaten 63 as they again struggled with the bat at home to Adlington.
Only Micheal Hall (29) got into double figures as the visiting attack shared the wickets around to dismiss their opponents for 132.
Adlington couldn't cope with the Elton attack and lost early wickets to Bushell and Peter Kay before Fitton (2-23) and Mark Goddard (3-12) polished off the 28 run win.
