ST Mark's Church held a youth mission day recently for the children of the parish and 35 children attended, many of whom had never been inside a church before.
Some were seriously involved in rehearsing to play their part in the Rock Mass which was held later on and a meal followed.
Organisers would like to say well done to the children for all of their efforts.
THE afternoon tea held at St Mark's Vicarage recently was enjoyed by all and raised £173 for church funds.
IF you require any red bin bags please call in at 12 Lowerhouse Lane next Thursday morning from 9.15am-10am.
You can also ask for information on the Burnley Credit Union. See Evelyn, Edith or Alan.
ROSEGROVE Action Group is looking for people to either donate money or donate some bulbs for the Peace Garden which needs brightening up during the winter months.
Donations are needed before the end of September.
