THE Morecambe Heritage Gala takes place this weekend - promising a vibrant celebration of the heritage of one of the region's most popular resorts.
There will be a whole host of live music, events and outdoor entertainment from Saturday night, kicking off with a performance by the Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Dome.
The RAF will be performing stunning feats of aerial artistry with a thrilling display from the Red Arrows and an appearance from on of the most feared fighter jets in the world, the Tornado GR4, on Sunday.
And there will also be a treat for fans of motoring history as the competitors in the Bradford to Morecambe Historic Vehicle Rally, featuring more than 400 vintage cars, roll into town.
