BRIAN JENSEN feels he has finally put his beastly start to life at Burnley behind him.
The Danish keeper has recovered from the shock of an early nine goal blitz to concede just one in three games and help ignite the Clarets campaign.
Jensen goes in search of a hat-trick of clean sheets at Norwich tomorrow, boosted by the solid Premiership partnership of Andy Todd and David May at the heart of his defence.
And the Beast roared out a warning that the Burnley back line is determined not be breached at Carrow Road.
Jensen said: "That's two clean sheets now and I should have had another one against Stoke as well.
"I feel I've finally settled. The first game against Crystal Palace was just a bit of a rush of blood to my head, but now its so far so good and I aim to keep that up.
"It was a shock at the start of the season because we were conceding sloppy goals all the time.
"It seemed everything was going against us, but now I have an experienced defence in front of me.
"Andy Todd and David May are two experienced players and exactly what we need, but defending also starts from the front and if the whole team continues as we are, I feel we have a good chance to do something this season."
Burnley have been receiving plaudits by the bucketload for last week's convincing display at Stoke - capped by the news today that the Clarets have scooped the award of the Scottish Life International Performance of the Week.
And Jensen admits Burnley slick football has been a joy to watch from the perfect vantage point.
He added: "It's brilliant to see us pass the ball around and its completely different football to what I have seen before at West Brom.
"A guy from Sky who I knew came and had a look at us last Saturday and said it was the best football he had seen so far in the First Division.
"I was delighted to hear that and be involved in it, because it's a pleasure to watch."
However, Jensen faces a stiff examination tomorrow in the ungainly form of 6ft 7in striker Peter Crouch.
The on-loan Aston Villa striker - once a target for Ternent - makes his debut alongside fellow loanee Darren Huckerby in a dangerous, new look Canaries strike force.
Both have been drafted in by City boss Nigel Worthington this week after he missed out on a host of summer targets - including Clarets striker Gareth Taylor.
And Jensen expects keeping a clean sheet to be a tall order. He said: "I have met Crouch a couple of times and its been a bit mixed with good games and bad games.
"He's really tall and that poses different problems for a keeper and I feel I have to be more commanding than usual.
"Balls come over and its better to punch it, rather than catch it.
"He's going to try to use his head as much as possible, but hopefully I can get the better of him."
BURNLEY Reserves' Pontins League clash with Bradford City at Turf Moor has been switched from Wednesday November 5 to Monday November 3, kick-off 7pm.
