THE director of a shop-fitting business that failed with debts of almost £112,000 has been disqualified from acting as a company director for four years.
Colin Tatham, 50, of Linton Drive, Burnley, was in charge of Hendon Installations Ltd, of Hendon Business Centre, Hendon Mill, Hallam Road in Nelson.
The company went into voluntary liquidation on June 1 with estimated debts of £111,762.
The Disqualification Order made on August 28 at Burnley County Court prevents Mr Tatham from being a company director or being concerned in the promotion, formation or management of a company for four years.
The court found his company failed to deal with tax affairs in relation to the Inland Revenue in the sum of £103,570 by allowing the workforce to be used by other companies.
