GREEN-fingered growers turned out in force on Saturday to exhibit their finest produce at this year's annual Barnoldswick Horticultural Show.
Barnoldswick Civic Hall became an array of colour when more than 100 participants entered the show.
The chrysanthemum section of the competition was the most popular, with other categories including vegetables, baking, floral art, pot plants, and novice classes.
Success blossomed for regular participant Betty Wall, who stole the show to take home three awards -- Shield for Most Points in Vegetable Classes, September Cup for Most Points in Show and National Chrysanthemum Society Champion.
Organiser Alan Greenwood, who judged the Harrogate and Crosshill's events also this weekend, said: "It has been a fantastic weekend. This year the chrysanthemum section was really successful, which is probably down to the fine summer we had.
"The only thing missing from this year's show was entries from children in the animated animal section. It's great when we get entries for that but this year we didn't have any, so we hope we can build on that for next time."
Medal and trophy winners: Barnoldswick Chrysanthemum Championship, David Hargreaves; Barnoldswick Dahlia Championship; Frank and Moira Smith; The Rose Trophy; Rex Geldard; Sweet Pea Trophy; Cyril Shackleton; Best Pot Plant In Show; Pat King.
Shield for Most Points in Vegetable Classes; Betty Wall; Rosebowl for Floral Art; Elizabeth Borman; September Cup for Most Points in Show; Betty Wall; National Chrysanthemum Society Champion; Betty Wall.
