MORE buses will be on the streets of Blackburn from today.
Blackburn Transport has announced that the network 365 service has been stepped up a gear in a bid to improve services for commuters. Services will be increased to Accrington, Roe Lee, Higher Croft, Shadsworth, Witton, Sunnybower and Mill Hill.
The Darwen Cemetery, Intack and Accrington route will offer buses at least every eight minutes.
The Wilpshire, Roe Lee and Blackburn bus route will see the number of buses increase from four to five during the daytime and Saturdays.
Buses from Roman Road and Highercroft will increase every 15 minutes to at least six buses an hour and 12 journeys to Shadsworth can be expected every hour.
Buses between Sunnybower, Little Harwood and Blackburn will be increased to every fifteen minutes.
