BACUP Borough could have been mistaken for thinking it was Friday the 13th and not Saturday 13th as their luck ran out as early as the 12th minute when defender Mick Charlton had to be stretchered off with a serious knee injury.
Bacup had to reorganise and while they could have taken the lead prior to the home side scoring, it was never going to be their day.
Three very good chances went Bacup's way, David Grey failing to convert the best, but they slipped behind on 22 minutes when Barry Massey found the net after benefiting from a fortuitous rebound and Bridge wrapped up victory Glen Steele added a second after the interval.
