A MALE pensioner caused uproar when he barged into the ladies toilet at a seaside holiday camp.
Jack Smith, 67, lost his temper when one woman tried to bar his way and he grabbed her round the throat.
The pensioner had gone in search of his 50-year-old girlfriend who had the key to their chalet, a court was told.
Smith, of St Cuthbert's Street, Burnley, admitted breach of the peace and was bound over in the sum of £150 for 12 months by Blackpool magistrates who told him: "This was not gentlemanly conduct."
Kirsten McAteer, prosecuting, said on Sunday, the defendant and his girlfriend were in the Queen Victoria Bar at Pontins, St Anne's.
The girlfriend went to the ladies toilet and was talking to another holidaymaker. The defendant then tried to enter the toilets to talk to his girlfriend. The other woman put her foot against the door and told him to go away.
