PENDLE training has been praised following a recent inspection.

The Nelson-based training provider passed an inspection by The Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI) with flying colours.

ALI, which is responsible for assessing the quality of adult learning and work-based training, concluded the company had a clear commitment to continuous improvement. It also praised the quality of the training support provided for learners and the way that staff monitored the progress of trainees.

All areas were deemed to be at least 'satisfactory', with their health, social care and public services provision being especially commended.

Pendle Training contracts manager, Andrea Ridehalgh, said the results were very encouraging. "The improvements are on-going and this successful inspection has given us a firm foundation to build on now," she said.
