A ROSSENDALE family are to appear in a feature film after the cast and crew landed in Bacup and asked to use their pub as the base for the production.
Parts of 'My Summer of Love', which is set to be shown in cinemas next year, were filmed at the Swan Hotel, in Newchurch Road.
Landlord Terry Egan, his wife Lynda and their ten year-old-daughter, Michelle, who attends St Mary's Primary School, all accepted parts as extras in the film.
Terry said: "The film is about a lad who inherits a pub and turns to Christianity. His sister lives with him but she rebells. The tale is all about their antics.
"We were really honoured to have the film shot here. They liked the pub because of its character and location. We all played small parts in the film."
