RAMSBOTTOM manager Andy Grimshaw will be hoping for a vast improvement when his side entertain Abbey Hey tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Rams chief admitted he felt let down by his players after they lost 3-1 at Ashington and were subsequently knocked out of the FA Cup at the first qualifying stage.
"I was disappointed to go out, more so because they were a poor side," he said.
"The ground was terrible but I know it's the same for both sides and we should have got something out of the game. We were very naive."
Grimshaw, who has been speaking to a number of possible new players, including two strikers, is delighted to welcome back Ged Walsh, who missed Saturday's game through work commitments.
