BOTH Mr J Pilkington and Ray Wallbank (Letters, September 11) criticise me for attacking the BNP.
This is interesting, as I did not mention the BNP in either of my recent letters opposing racism and intolerance.
I did mention 'bigots and fundamentalists.' I did mention 'narrow-minded racism.'
It seems that these phrases made both writers immediately think of the BNP, even though that party was not named. I wonder why?
