COLNE indie band the Milltown Brothers are among the groups to join the line-up on a new album produced by the Anti-Nazi League.
The record is part of the ANL's Love Music Hate Racism campaign which celebrates multi-culturalism and the unifying power of music.
Local bands The Burn and Tom Paulin, both from Blackburn, will also feature on the CD set for release next month.
All profits from this album will help the ANL reach it's goal of building a mass movement around music. It is its latest moveto combat the influence of the British National Party.
Earlier this year the organisation held a music festival at the Burnley Mechanics, Manchester Road, with Basement Jaxx, DJ Tim Westwood, hip hop band Heartless Crew and Punjabi Hit Squad.
It was also due to stage the event in Queen's Park on April 27 but was refused a licence by Burnley Council. A Love Music Hate Racism gig with local favourites the Milltown Brothers, Jobe and Tessem was staged at the Mechanics.
Last August, the council refused a similar application to hold the Love Music Hate Racism festival in Towneley Park. It was eventually switched to Manchester.
