A LOOK at the key moments from the game against Nottingham Forest.
BURNLEY
BRIAN JENSEN: Should have done better with Harewood's early bolt from the blue, but had little chance with the second and third goals. 6
LEE ROCHE: Strangely out-of-sorts as he came back into the side for his first start in a month for the injured Dean West. Replaced by Paul Weller at half time. 6
DAVID MAY: Skipper for the night in the absence of Graham Branch and generally looked the part, although Harewood's power and pace often put him on the back foot. 7
ANDY TODD: Fought an aerial battle with Gareth Taylor all night long and might have done better to cut out the second strike from Reid as he tracked back as the last man. 6
MO CAMARA: Excelled down the left as Burnley took the game to the visitors. One sublime moment as he mopped up at the back, got Burnley moving again and ended up on the right wing wowed the crowd. 7
LUKE CHADWICK: Struggled to break through a rock-solid Forest back line and too often ran down a one-way street to find a dead-end. 6
TONY GRANT: Over-run in the centre of the park by a lung-busting performance from Forest's Andy Reid. Sadly lacking when it came to the creative side of his game. 6
GARETH FARRELLY: Promising home debut from the on-loan Bolton midfielder, who was instrumental in most of the Clarets intricate football before tiring. 7
IAN MOORE: Ran his socks off on the right before being given a more fluid role in the second half. Desperately unlucky to be ruled offside for what could have been a lifeline leveller. 6
ROBBIE BLAKE: Corkscrewed himself into the ground trying to weave an opening, but somehow needs to find that all-important killer ball. 7
DELROY FACEY: Went toe-to-toe with one of the best young defenders in England in Michael Dawson and emerged with flying honours after a rampant performance. 8
SUBS: PAUL WELLER (for Roche 46) Gave side a better balance on right 7. RICHARD CHAPLOW (for Farrelly 67) Typically robust in final quarter. 6. GRAHAM BRANCH (Blake 82). Not used: ALAN MOORE, MATTY O'NEILL
FOREST
DARREN WARD: Fantastic save from Weller. 7
MATTHEW LOUIS-JEAN: French fancy. 7
WES MORGAN: One to watch: 7
MICHAEL DAWSON: England star in making. 8
JOHN THOMPSON: Scrooge-like defending. 8
GARETH WILLIAMS: Insurance for defenders. 7
DANNY SONNER: Steady without shining. 6
STEPHEN McPHAIL: Mixed bag. 6
ANDY REID: Next big thing. 9
GARETH TAYLOR: Quality finish. 7
MARLON HAREWOOD: Powerhouse. 9
Subs not used: WALKER, ROCHE, STEWART, GUNNARSSON, JESS.
REFEREE: ALAN KAYE: Missed nothing and kept order. 7 Yellow cards: Clarets: None. Forest: Dawson 43, Taylor 62, Sonner 74
