TOWN Hall staff raised a glass in tribute to a colleague who died of a brain tumour after they completed a 12-mile walk in his memory.
The Capita IT Services staff toasted Martin Etherington at the Strawbury Duck Pub in Entwistle after trekking from the Black Bull in Tockholes.
Martin, 40, of Willow Trees Drive, Lammack, Blackburn worked for Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council for a decade and died in August after battling against the tumour for 10 months.
Sponsorship from the walk is being donated to three organisations that were close to Martin's heart - Broadfield Special School in Oswaldtwistle, Marie Curie Nurses and the East Lancashire Hospice.
