ARSONISTS caused around £5,000 worth of damage to children's toys and play equipment when a wooden storage shed was set on fire today.
Bikes, climbing frames, prams and dolls were all damaged when firebugs struck at Hillside Nursery in Cedar Avenue, Haslingden at 12.30am.
Headteacher Mrs Lyn Dowber (pictured)said: "We are disgusted by this and are very upset at what has happened. What makes it even worse is that when one little boy left his grandad donated some money to buy equipment which we have now lost."
