BACUP Borough's manager is hoping to give something back to the community by organising free transport to and from all home games.
Brent Peters has bought a coach which has been painted in the club's colours -- black and white -- with the help of sponsor Andrew Kelly, of Andrew Kelly and Associates.
The Bacup boss said it's been his ambition since joining the club to organise such a service after failed attempts with Rossendale Borough Council to run a bus service to and from West View.
It is hoped the coach will travel through Waterfoot to The Glen, through Stacksteads and then come into Bacup to pick up supporters.
Brent is now looking for a volunteer with a PCV licence to drive the coach on match days.
He said: "I can drive it, but I am in the changing rooms with the players at home games so I need somebody who is under 60 and is willing to volunteer to drive the coach.
"We are very lucky to have this. Not many non-league clubs have their own coach. It's not because we have buckets of money -- it's thanks to our sponsor Andrew Kelly, who has managed to put a package together to fund it.
"I want to give something back to the supporters, especially the older die-hard fans who don't have transport and find it difficult getting to the ground because it's on such a steep hill. But the service will be open to everyone."
Brent is also keen to find a sponsor for the coach's diesel, which is currently being funded by the club.
If anybody is able to help they should contact Brent at the club on 01706 878655.
