HOWE Bridge Aces did well in the National Age Group Swimming Championships at Sheffield.
Eleven years-old Rebecca Harris from Culcheth (pictured with club mate Jack Marczak) qualified for seven of the competitions and reached the three finals. She gained silver in the 200 metres breaststroke, missing gold by a fraction of a second, then went on to take bronze in the 100 m breaststroke and came seventh in the 400 m individual medley.
Rebecca's overall performance placed her eighth in the championships.
Jack, aged 13, came fourth in the 100 m butterfly (1min 9.09sec) and fifth in the 100 m freestyle (1min 0.92sec).
Kasha Hampson had an excellent swim in the 100 m butterfly event, finishing in 1min 6sec and came 13th in the 200 m butterfly (2min 26 sec).2
