MP ANDY Burnham will hold an informal meeting next month for those wishing to discuss the Leigh Sports Village plans.
Mr Burnham wants local people who have any genuine concerns about the £75million project to step forward and voice their opinion.
The Leigh MP promises to give an update on the current stage of the project.
And he is looking forward to working together with the objectors to find some common ground on the proposals -- before the plans goes before Council planning chiefs.
Mr Burnham told the Journal: "The meeting will be a perfect opportunity for people with legitimate concerns to come forward. I won't be there to give the project the hard sell. I want everyone to focus on the areas of concern, to see if we can enter into the spirit of consensus and work together to see if we can make things better.
"I want everyone to have an opportunity to speak on any concerns they have about the project."
Mr Burnham said details of the meeting will be announced through the Journal later this month.
