MP Andy Burnham states that the public support fluoride in water.
I have yet to speak to anyone in my community who wants this. There are enough products available already to prevent tooth decay. Most responsible parents teach their children to care for their teeth from an early age so do we have to pay the price for people who are too bone idle to do so?
The state has a responsibility for some aspects of social care but dental hygiene is certainly parental responsibility. This is the first time I have ever written to a newspaper, but I feel very strongly on this subject and think it is time the silent majority who are against fluoride spoke up.
