SPORTS Village project plans will be on show this Saturday at Spinning Gate Shopping Centre in Leigh.
Leigh Sports Partnership members and MP Andy Burnham will be on hand from 10am until 3pm with a display of up-to-date plans for the ambitious £75million project.
And chairman Trevor Barton has appealed to people unsure as to whether the Sports Village should be built to take a look on Saturday.
He told the Journal: "We want to liaise with local businesses and the public to explain what the Leigh Sports Village plan is all about.
"We especially want to see people who are not sure whether the Sports Village should go ahead, to come down and have a look for themselves at the plan. People who want to support the proposals will get the chance to sign a form which will be sent to the Director of Planning at Wigan Metro."
