ARTHRITIS sufferers who have been trained in how to manage its symptoms will be leading a course to help other sufferers.
The Healthy Living Centre in Brookhouse and Blackburn Arthritis Care are holding a six-week course for sufferers starting on September 24.
The course, to be held at Bangor Street Community Centre, Norwich Street, Blackburn, is for people with arthritis who want to learn self-management skills and techniques in pain management, relaxation, diet and relationships with health professionals.
Organisers said attending the course will also help improve communication skills and provide support and understanding through being with other people with arthritis.
