CLUB singer Wendy Hillman crashed her boyfriend's car into the gates of Bold Venture Park in Darwen.
Blackburn magistrates heard that a witness saw the car mount the kerb and collide with a wall, leave the kerb and then re-mount it before hitting the gates. And a subsequent breathalyser showed Hillman to be over the legal drink drive limit.
Hillman, 42, of Limes Avenue, Darwen pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. She was fined £200 with £75 costs and disqualified from driving for two years. Hillman, who gave a reading of 77 against the legal limit of 35, agreed to be referred to the drink drive rehabilitation programme.
John Dewhurst, defending, said Hillman and her boyfriend had been visiting friends where they had been drinking unmeasured drinks. "It was only after the collision she realised she had drunk far too much," said Mr Dewhurst.
