FOUR youths had a miraculous escape when they emerged virtually unscathed after their car landed on its roof.
The Vauxhall Corsa flipped after a collision with a Renault van in Radcliffe Road, Bury, near Ribchester Drive at 9.30pm on Saturday.
Fire officers and paramedics treated the drivers and passengers at the scene. But none the four occupants of the Corsa and the two people inside the van sustained any serious injuries.
All the occupants of the Corsa were youths from the Prestwich area. The 18-year-old driver escaped injury. The three passengers, aged 16, 17 and 18 were treated at Fairfield Hospital for minor cuts but were not detained.
The driver of the Renault van, a 31-year-old man from Glossop, did not require hospital treatment. A 36-year-old male passenger from Radcliffe also escaped injury.
Fire crews were at the scene for 30 minutes following the accident.
