EX-policeman Matthew Hanson has swapped his helmet for a chauffeur's cap.
And the 27-year-old businessman hopes he will become a force to be reckoned with after launching his own luxury transport company.
Matthew has quit the force and headed for the fast lane with a six-seater, £30,000 Chrysler Voyager.
And he is anything but in the back seat as his Voyager business strives to win a share of the lucrative corporate transport sector. His website has already generated a clutch of clients in what was a shrewd marketing move to go on-line.
Matthew, whose Voyager company is based at the Albert Place Business Centre in Radcliffe, said: "I was a police constable based in Bury. But after almost three years in the force, I identified a gap in the luxury transport chauffeuring business. I decided to go for it."
Recently, he travelled to London and gained a top performance-related award from the British Chauffeurs Guild.
