THE effects of a possible freeze on house building in Fylde will be under the spotlight at a council meeting tonight (Thursday).
A change in county council policy, coupled with a Government decision on a planning appeal in Lancaster, means that Fylde Council may have to effectively stop all new house building across the borough.
Independent members of the Community and Performance Committee have 'called in' for review a decision to adopt draft supplementary planning guidance which would block most developments which do not yet have any form of planning permission.
