MAY I suggest that Karen Cooke (Citizen Sept. 11) contact her Local Environmental Dept. re the persistent dog barking which she and her neighbours are suffering.
I did and was told that it is a public nuisance and offence and carries a heavy fine.
The department, like Lytham St Annes should have information leaflets on the matter. Dogs who bark continually are bored, lonely and unhappy and the irresponsible owners are (usually) to blame for this.
