A BACUP craft shop is inviting people to take part in a new programme of workshops, which will run until Christmas.
The House on the Corner, in Market Street, is offering courses on crafts, including handmade card-making, rubber stamping, glass painting and Iris folding.
There is also an opportunity for families to make their own Christmas cards.
Lorna Winstanley, who owns the shop, said: "The workshops will enable people of all abilities to enjoy crafts and learn new skills in a welcoming and friendly environment.
"Many of our customers have been asking about the workshops as they are a great place to share ideas and make new friends."
The first course, an introduction to card-making, was held earlier this month and the events will now run on most Friday evenings up until Christmas.
All tools and materials will be provided and participants will be able to take home a number of completed cards or designs. A small fee will be charged per person to cover the costs of the workshops.
Places are limited to a maximum of 15 people and can booked by telephoning 01706 879400, emailing lorna@houseonthecorner.com, or visiting www.houseon
thecorner.com.
